Steven Sussman, pianist, received a Bachelor of Music from Indiana University as well as a Master of Music from Boston University. Both degrees were in piano performance. Professionally he performs in the New England area as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral member. Mr. Sussman has played with the Boston Pops; Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra; St. Johns Chamber Players; Wellesley Symphony and numerous other organizations. He has played in the pit orchestras of the Wang, Schubert. Colonial and North Shore Music Theaters. As a jazz musician he has played countless functions providing music for weddings, parties, holiday celebrations and business meetings. Mr Sussman is also the director of an educational/performance group called Opera Presto. He also teaches piano at the Rivers Conservatory; St. Marks School and at his home studio.
