Currently, as the Jazz Violin teacher at the New England Conservatory of Music (Prep Div./ SCE) in Boston, David continues to be a jazz violin visionary. David's mastery has allowed him to become an invaluable wealth of talent; constantly forging new aesthetics. He virtually transforms the violin into a human voice; one that breathes life into every note and phrase. Following on the heels from his great success of his Latin Explosion Afro-Cuban Jazz group (2003-2005), David has gone on to explore vast cultural roots encompassing African and Latin American music. Infusing his music with deep passionate exotic techniques, melodies and themes, he embodies a soulful sound with precision, clarity and finesse. He bridges the classical and jazz musical divide with elegant aplomb.
