Since graduating from Berklee College of Music in 1978, Andy Baer has been one of Boston's busiest musicians. In addition to leading the Andy Baer Quartet, he leads the Beantown Saxophone Quartet, the Hub Strutters Marching Band, and the seventeen piece Boston Jazz Orchestra. The Boston Jazz Orchestra has performed at First Night, the Boston Globe and the DeCordova Museum Jazz Festivals, and has been the featured band at the Boston Harbor Hotel's Gala Wine Festival Dinner Dance. Among Andy's other credits are tours and performances with the following nationally recognized artists: Dick Johnson and the Artie Shaw Orchestra, Clark Terry, Natalie Cole, Rosemary Clooney, Lou Rawls, Vic Damone, Bobby Rydell, The Four Tops, Bob Hope and the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus. Andy Baer's bands play regularly at the Four Seasons Hotel, the Ritz-Carlton Hotels, the Boston Harbor Hotel and the Museum of Fine Arts. |
