Andrew Stern

Praised for his taste, touch, and tone, Andrew is consistently favored by Boston’s most demanding corporate and private clients. His musical range is clearly apparent in his recordings and various independent performing projects: AS3 and AST (two wide-ranging guitar, bass and drums trios); Old Soldiers (rock and roll songwriting outlet); Telescope (a tribute to the Telecaster, who rip and nail hip-surf-garage grunge); Naftule’s Dream (a wildly free-form, psychedelic Klezmer band) and finally, holding the weekly guitar chair for 14 years with the Gill Aharon Trio (usually a quartet). Andrew also performs with Beat Circus, Brian Carpenter and the Confessions. He also provides solid backing and soundscapes for singer-songwriters Dennis Brennan and Mark Erelli. For work in the hospitality industry, Andrew brings this creative depth to jazz and pop standards as a duo, trio, or quartet.
